Mark Engebretson
Mark Engebretson began his career at the Valley-Lake Boy's Home, Inc. in April 1978 when hired as a part-time Youth Worker shortly before graduating from Minnesota State University - Moorhead. By September 1978, he had assumed the positions of Case Manager and Assistant Director. In November 1980, Mr. Engebretson accepted the duties of the Executive Director. Mark and his wife reside in Breckenridge and are the proud parents of three children and a grandson born in October 2008.

Joanna Etzler
Joanna Etzler began as a Youth Worker in 1992. She came to Valley-Lake Boy's Home, Inc. with a double major in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the Minnesota State University, Moorhead. In 1994, Joanna became a Case Manager, and moved to her current position as Program Director in 2002. Joanna lives in Breckenridge with her husband and four children.

Karla Littke
Karla Littke has worked at the Valley-Lake Boy's Home, Inc. since 2000. She began as a Youth Worker and has been the a Case Manager since August 2004. Karla was promoted to the position of Assistant Director in October 2008.

Brenda Gjesdal has been employed since July 1979 as our administrative assistant.

Carol Gerber
Carol Gerber started her employment at the Valley-Lake Boy's Home, Inc. on Feb. 1, 2005 as a Youth Worker. Prior to her relocation to the Breckenridge area, Carol worked with a traumatic brain injured client. She also has employment experience in the administration field.

Linda Kutzer
Linda Kutzer is employed as the cook for the Valley-Lake Boy's Home, Inc. She began her employment in June 2004. Linda lives outside of Campbell, Minnesota with her husband and daughter.

Mikael Engebretson
Mikael has returned to the Valley-Lake Boys Home in May 2009 to work as one of our weekend Youth Workers. He previously worked here from October 2007 to January 2008 as a Youth Worker and Night Supervisor.

Yoney Fobb
Yoney has been a Case Manager since February 2010. He received his degree from East Central University of Oklahoma in Juvenile Justice and Human Services. Yoney resides in Wahpeton, ND with his wife and two children.

Chad Brever
Chad is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Superior with a degree in Sociology. He started working at the Valley-Lake Boys Home in February 2010 as a Youth Worker.
